Growth Mode: Lessons from CRI-Help’s HR Transformation
September 3, 2026 12:00 pm • Virtual and Interactive
California’s historic investments in behavioral health infrastructure are pushing providers to scale faster than ever, and CRI-Help is right in the middle of it. With one BHCIP program already online, a 140-bed residential facility and a 50-bed women and children’s program on the horizon, and plans to hire roughly 200 additional employees over the next three years, CRI-Help knew its existing spreadsheet-based HR processes wouldn’t keep up — and that compliance couldn’t be left to chance.
Join us for a candid lunch and learn as Eliah Lefferts, CRI-Help’s Human Resource Manager, shares his journey transitioning the organization from spreadsheets to a modern HR Information System (HRIS). Eliah will walk through what drove the decision, what to look for in a system, the bumps along the way, and the lessons learned that any behavioral health provider scaling up should hear before they start hiring at speed.
Whether your organization is eyeing a similar transition, navigating BHCIP expansion, or simply tired of chasing down paper files and version-controlled spreadsheets, this session offers a real-world look at how the right HR infrastructure can turn rapid growth from a liability into an opportunity.
Bring your questions. Bring your appetite. Leave with a roadmap.
